Josephine belonged to Lisa Greene. She asked us to care for Josephine and her
other dog, Charisse, when she became ill. We love them so much and they are part
of our family now.
Lisa passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer. We all miss her very much.

Josephine finished third in this Grand Prix. She is always a good girl!
MACH 2 For Josephine!!!
Mel & Josephine earned their MACH 2 in Scottsdale, AZ on 3-03-07.
This was Mel's first MACH but Josephine's second. Her first came under the expert
direction of her owner and trainer, Lisa Greene. Here are the two runs that completed
MACH 2 for a phenomenal dog!

Josephine ran this in a very respectable 6.2 yps and picked up 32 MACH points (1st place) for one JWW
run!
Standard
Another great run and the completion of their MACH 2!
The Victory lap (ala Mel :).
Mel thought he needed two double Qs for MACH 2. He got one and figured he needed one more. I went
to the AKC website to double check that night and saw that he only needed one QQ for MACH 2! He
had gotten his MACH and didn't even know it. So, next morning, they awarded him the bar and ribbon
and he & Josephine did a shortened MACH run.

There were 100 dogs in this 24" class and 72 Qualifying runs! Josephine placed 8th!!!
3-11-07 McKinney Texas Trial JWW
This was 5.7 yps.

Even with the bobble at the end, this was a first place worth 44 MACH points!

Seattle Kennel Club
These courses (especially the jumper courses) were very technical but Mel & Josephine rocked! Except
for a dropped bar on Friday, they were nearly perfect going 5 for 6!

This was a terrific run (5.8 yps) but that is not why I put it up on the web. Our friend, Ken (of Ken & Al
fame) taped for us because I ran right after Mel. He was whining the entire time about our new camera
because it is very large and very heavy. Ken runs an IG and is a gentle soul. I keep telling him he needs to
get tougher! LOL You can hear Uncle Jef's wife, Auntie Rossie, in the background telling Ken to put it on
her head. I laugh every time I think about this video.
